BETTER RESOLUTION CENTRE
WE PREPARE YOU TO SUCCEED
This is a service offered to our clients who are wanting to avoid or are embroiled in a commercial or legal dispute.
We have a different approach to most lawyers, one aimed at helping you to solve the dispute quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively.
Firstly, we aim to resolve the dispute by CONFERENCING. This works better if the warring parties genuinely want to resolve the dispute, but it can still bring results for you if both parties are at loggerheads.
Secondly, we prepare you and organise “EARLY MEDIATION”. Our lawyers AND our consulting team of experienced mediators work together to develop the strategies and legal tools for you to manage and resolve the dispute by EARLY MEDIATION, which can save you the expense of full legal preparation.
Thirdly, if the dispute cannot be resolved, we can represent you in COURT proceedings where we are focused on securing you the best and quickest result.
We operate in all of the State Courts, the Federal Court Australia wide, and even the Family Court in complicated property settlements where parties want guidance to enter into Binding Financial Agreements or Settlement Deeds.

Jim Wilson is a Senior Solicitor who also, uniquely, possesses senior leadership experience in various industries, such as mining, medical, financial services, manufacturing and wholesaling and retailing.
As such, Jim has a proven ability to understand and communicate B2B problems, issues, and conflicts.
Jim's style in resolving disputes is to have each party understand the real concerns of the other and for each party to gain a clear understanding of the cost of not resolving the dispute to mutual satisfaction, in the best possible way. These cost of non-resolution are, almost always, the direct costs (litigation) and/or the opportunity costs (the distractive risk to each business and the operational cost to each party).
